SITE #4 - St. Martin (French side) CREOLE ROCK (ROCHER
CREOLE)
Depth:
13ft-33ft/4m - 10m (This reef was damaged by hurricane
Luis in September 1995)
Yacht
Anchorage:
Grand Case is a very protected anchorage in all but the
strongest winds and large northerly swells. There is a
good, long beach with many fine restaurants lining the
bay.
Dive Site:
You can either anchor your yacht close to Creole Rock or
you can dinghy over if you are anchored off the beach.
There is a pretty coral reef teeming with a large
variety of fish. This Is an ideal site in most weather
conditions, especially for your first tune-up dive.
Sea
Conditions:
This site is only affected by very poor weather and
large northerly swells.
